So, I realized calling myself soldier girl WOULD give off the wrong vibe and I don't want to be put into that category and have people not read my blog because of it. So, I changed my name to a name I use often. Let's try this again. My name is Amanda, I am 21 years old and a student at a community college currently majoring in Child Development. I love to read and write and do artistic shit like that. I am also a HUGE superhero buff. Thus the Spider-man theme of my blog. Spider-man is the best, anyone who wants to challenge that? BRING IT. Many have tried but I win most of the time. :P Oh, I have a boyfriend I'll talk about once in a while. He's in the army. I don't like it but I support him to the fullest. He's my real life superhero <3
The topic today is scaring people. I love to do it but I HATE when people do it to me! Here's my story:
I live with a room mate. Her name's Mia. She's the same age as I am and we have been best friends since senior year of high school, she's basically like my sister. Well, on Valentine's Day night I had a bonfire in my backyard with a few friends. We'd all had a long day dealing with lovey dovey couples all day and we needed to unwind. So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels that I dubbed my boyfriend for the night (Since my real one is stuck in the mountains somewhere in the desert doing pre-deployment training and top secret army stuff) and we all plopped down and just chilled. Well, around 1 am I decided to call it a night because I had been up for 30 plus hours just because I couldn't sleep the night before and just stayed up all night instead.
My journey began... I walked into my house. My house is one of the oldest houses in my town, it's over 100 years old so my house on it's own is CREEPY! I'll tell you that right now. I walked through my house and ascended my creaky old stairs and went straight to the bathroom. While in the bathroom, I hear a ruckus outside the door. I assumed my younger sister (I live with my family) had woken up for something. So, I opened the door expecting to see someone walking around. There were no lights on in the house so all I had was the light off my cellphone. But I saw no one... "Weird," I thought, "I could've sworn I'd heard someone out here..."
Just like in the movies! I walked into my bedroom with only the light of my phone still and since I knew I was going straight to bed, I didn't bother turning on the lights. It was cold in the room... I went to the window to close it. As I walked over to the window I heard creaking noises; normal for my house when you walk around... but no! This was more than just me.... THERE WAS SOMETHING BEHIND ME! I turned really slowly, my phone in hand, and all of a sudden there was a face illuminated by the dim florescent light of my phone! I screamed bloody fucking murder while Mia burst into laughter. I fell onto my bed clutching my chest and breathing heavily saying, " Oh my god! I'm going to cry! Oh my god I'm crying! OH MY GOD I CAN'T BREATHE!" Finally, we calmed down and I went to bed and she went out. But that was the creepiest thing to ever happen to me! It went down like out of a movie! Hahaha! Greatest thing ever. Don't trust your friends. They will not pass up an opportunity to scare the shit out of you for entertainment.
